Fee for individual therapy or individual counseling

140,00 € per session (50min)

Psychotherapy is exempt from sales tax as a therapeutic or preventative treatment according to Section 4 No. 14 Letter a of the German Value Added Tax Act (UStG). Consulting, coaching, or communication training are subject to sales tax, and an additional 19% VAT is charged accordingly.

Fee for couples therapy or family therapy

280,00 € per session (80min)

Couple and family therapy as a therapeutic or preventative psychotherapeutic treatment (for at least one partner) is exempt from sales tax according to Section 4 No. 14 Letter a of the German Value Added Tax Act (UStG). Counseling, coaching, or communication training for couples or parents are subject to sales tax and are subject to an additional 19% VAT.

Cancel appointments

If you need to cancel a session, please ensure you notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Otherwise, we will not be able to reschedule the appointment and will have to charge you for the missed session.

Reimbursement by health insurance companies

As a rule, the fees incurred are not covered by statutory health insurance. Patients must clarify any special arrangements with their insurance provider. The coverage of costs by private health insurance or supplementary health insurance plans must be clarified by the patient in advance. The Heilpraktiker for psychotherapy does not bill third parties directly and cannot defer the fee or portions of the fee in anticipation of possible reimbursement.
